Another tip for overcoming hanging in "Initializing installation"

The system is creating a restore point during Initialize Installation, if
this can not be completed the installation hangs.
To verify that this is indeed the reason for the hang, save one of the
updates to disk and try to install with the installation wizard (double
click the update). The installation will now hang in Creating Restore Point.
Open System Properties | System Restore, Check Turn off System Restore. It
will destroy all the restore points but they are most likely corrupted
anyway. Install the updates, Turn System Restore Back on.
