another Vista newsgroup

Does anyone know of another Vista newsgroup without all the span that
has virtually ruined this one. One where people ask legitimate
question and get legitimate answers.

Like the other person said there isn't
The easiest IMO to avoid SPAM way is to use a NTTP Reader
Like Outlook Express or if you have VIST or Win7 is the Windows Live Mail
Program

Configure Newsgroups with these settings
NewsServer: msnews.microsoft.com
newsgroup: microsoft.public.windows.vista.general
or By Clicking Below
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof....vista.general

Once you do that when a "SPAMMER" shows up you view
click on his name and "Add to blocked senders list"

Then when the post again you won't see it..
However, if they MORPH into a new name you have to do it again.
But it does appear to make a difference in your experience.
(or maybe it's just me.)

This is also a good way to ignore Trolls

Not a newsgroup, but as Microsoft is switching away from NNTP to web based
forums for all support, you might try here:

One thing you might like about the forum environment as opposed to public
newsgroups is that trolls don't last long in the more controlled forum
environment.

No unfortunately trolls are the way of newsgroups, which is why
Microsoft is getting away from them.
