Another Vista Update and Internet Explorer error

When I try to run Windows Vista Update I get the same error - code 80244016.

In addition, Internet Explorer cannot connect internet, also porgrams like
Miro are displaying this error:

"The requested URL could not be retrieved

The following error was encountered:
The request was rejected because the port it was connecting to
is not configured to receive the protocol being sent.
Please contact your network administrator."

Nevertheless Firefox works whitout any problems? What is the matter then?

Do you have any ideas?
