Had problem with WGA trying to verify and download on a Dell computer. As
usual I started playing email tag with Dell support trying to find someone
who understood the problem or would provide troubleshooting support. Gave up
on Dell. Contacted Microsoft Support and immediately started getting help,
but they stopped responding for no apparent reason. To make a long story
short I found the following knowledge base article myself and started working
through the steps. Method 4 cleared up my problem. Updates work with no
problem now.
