LOL! It didn't have a chance. Course, had I been running Windows, the
drive by would have shot and maimed my machine.

The date and time was Saturday, January 10, 2009 9:28:00 AM, and on a
whim, Bill pounded out on the keyboard:

The dialog box that pops up doesn't state virus. That wouldn't be too
stealth now would it! ;-)

Alias is quite correct !

Anti Virus 2009 is a fake anti virus form of malware in the non-viral class.

http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/

David, Snapfiles(WebAttack) has been a great help over the years.
But, they need income like anyone else; so, Google enters the picture.

In the "Adds by Google"in the right column of the link above, 3rd advert
down, is the direct link to Anti-virus 2009 downloads.

Google has sunk to new lows to get money from advertising!

Since you were using Ubuntu, you wern't doing any real work. All you could
do is make nasty posts to the vista forum.

If you were using Windows, you could be doing real work.

Everybody knows that Ubuntu is written be geeks for geeks as an experiment
gone horribly wrong.
