I Prefer Reccommending Avast 4.8 Home Edition Over AVG 4 People Who Are
Looking 4 A Free Anti-Virus Product 4 Home Usage As Avast Has Been Coming In
At 1st Place 4 Some Time Now In Detecting Viruses And Spyware, And Avast Is
Now Also Working On A New Release Of Avast 5.0 As Well.

Isn't Avast H/E Free going to be terminated at the end of this year?
If not, that would have been my recommendation also.

Harry.

I've seen this rumor before. I think it's only around because Avast
expires after one year and forces you to re-register to continue to
use it. But, I've seen no plans to actually charge for it.

As to the OP's question: Use Avast. Low system load, high ratings in
tests.

Make sure to change the background picture to Republican Senator Craig coming out of the mens
room just after looking for Gay Sex. Just FYI. Did I say Just FYI? If not, Just FYI.
