Installed KB931770, didn't fix the problem

Get 3 to 4x's faster transfer in xp. When I transfer files in vista t
my usb memory stick, get around 195kb/s. VERY slow for usb 2.

Any fixes yet

Did you optimize the USB drive for performance? Are you connected through a
USB 2.0 interface? Do you need specific USB high speed drivers for your
particular high speed interface?

How do you optimize the usb drive? Yes, its usb 2.0. Don't believe I
need drivers. The usb 2.0 hub is on the front of my pc, and I guess
vista installed the drivers when I installed it.

Plug your USB Hub into a USB Port at the BACK(straight into your motherboard)
of your computer.
Front USB ports are slower.

Many front panel USB ports seem to run at a slower speed.

Optimize your USB drive for performance. Go to Computer | Properties |
Device manager | Disk Drives.

Double click on your drive and go to policies. Choose "optimize for
performance".

Bullshit. Maybe with Fista.

Why wouldn't it be "optimized" out of the box. What kind of bullshit is
this?

Shake Hands With,
