The CD option is fast, easy and free. Google for "order
windows xp sp2 cd " and it will be the first item. Go to
the page and fill out the form, all it asks is what
language, country and the details needed for MS to ship to
you (they pay the postage)... it has been taking only a week
for the CD to arrive.
To install SP2 from the CD is so hard to do, you have to
open the CD tray and insert the CD and close the tray.
In order to install to more than one computer you need the
CD or you need to make your own by downloading the IT
version of SP2 which is 266 MB [plan on a day or two to
download on dial-up] and after you have it saved to your
downloaded files folder on your hard drive, burn it to a
CD-R [finalize the burn].
