The ads pay for the service and aren't that intrusive, so I'd encourage you to leave them
alone.
However, since it's going to be mentioned anyway, you can remove the ads using A-Patch or
Mess Patch which will patch them out of the client. Also, there's other options if you don't
want to patch your client, like using a hosts file to block rad.msn.com or Messenger Plus!
