If you want more than the very basic photo editing found in Windows Photo
Gallery, you'll need to go to a third-party program. Some suggestions, all

and is compatible with PhotoShop plug-ins.

IrfanView does not have non-rectangular cropping shapes.

applications for basic photo editing now.
