I had to click on this FIVE TIMES! before I could even get here.

Whatever they have done to "WINDOWS UPDATE" Is a pathetic joke.

And just to get to this particular part of their "site" took me over half an
hour!

And MS wonders why people don't update on a regular basis?

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME MR. GATES!

Why don't you hire some employees who have at least a two digit IQ?
(Some thirteen year olds perhaps?)

I was initially excited about "WINDOWS XP PRO" and it worked just fine for
awhile,
but now you guys have REALLY screwed the pooch with whatever you have decided
to do with "WINDOWS UPDATE" because it simply does not work any more!

Yes, I have tried all of your "suggestions" and guess what? (Big surprise,)

NONE OF THEM WORK!

If this is any kind of prelude to "Service pack two".

I may very well look into buying a MAC.

I hear macs work pretty reliably, unfortunately, you can't get much in the
way of software for them. Too bad we're all stuck with Windows for the
forseeable future. I'm sure even the Msoft apologists (they're pretty thick
in here) would like to have another option. In 5 - 10 years, maybe linux will
be the answer.

Yeah... He's a "spewer of useless links", as well as a shell of a user.
These Microsoft apologists get pretty tiresome.
