Anyone else having a problem with Gmail?

Using Windows 7 Home Premium with Windows Live mail.

Trying to use Gmail for the E-mail account.

I have a problem linking with Gmail server.
Most every time syncing the mail, the computer will end up in a processing
state and then after a while it will as me if I want to wait?

Is anyone having this problem?

Are you using POP3 or IMAP access?

Did you enable the desired protocol on Gmail?
