Just installed:

Windows XP family Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - July 2005
(KB890830)

Office 2002/XP Security Update for Word 2002 (KB895589)

Windows XP family Security Update for Windows XP (KB901214)

Windows XP family Security Update for JView Profiler (KB903235)

Has anyone experienced this?

I have not heard of it.

If you reset the time/date and reboot, is it back to 2000?
If so, you have a BIOS battery going dead.
Check your motherboard manual for replacement information.
Usually easy to replace and a CR2032 battery a little larger than a dime.
If not and you can not duplicate, there may be no problem at all.
If it happens occasionally, you may have loose or dirty contacts for the
battery.

Thanks but it doesn't appear to have been the BIOS battery....was replaced
recently...but thanks for the thought....could have been a momentary 'glitch'

Might have been some other 'glitch' with a NIC......

Just seemed strange as it happened immed after updates....

Thanks 4 input.
