Hi Bakerygirl,
The driver is simply the software that allows communication between the
hardware (in your case, the onboard/integrated graphics controller) and the
software that is installed on your computer (including the operating
system). The fact that your computer does not have support for Hardware T &
L is not solely the fault of the driver that Compaq installed on your
system........it's due to the fact that your computer has onboard/integrated
graphics vs. a graphics expansion card. In order to play games that require
Hardware T & L, you would have to purchase and install a graphics card and
its associated drivers.
