Anyone having issues with error: 0x80240020

I am having errors on multiple computers. I can download the updates but it
doesn't install. I can manually install them but that is indeed a hassle to
go through every single one and manually download/install.

I have searched high and low and I have found nothing that would even
remotely lead to a fix for this problem.

Microsoft, MVPs, please, can any of you help me out on this?

Do you have "Client for Microsoft Networks" installed/enabled for your
network connection?

I did not but I went ahead and installed it, rebooted and still was unable
to get the updates to install properly.
