I tried running Vista SP1 and got
setup detected that the operating system in use is not windows vista
(32-bit)

But it is 32 bit, it was pre installed on my HP Pavilion.

I also got the same "setup detected that the operating system in use
is not windows vista (32-bit)" error message when I ran the NVidia
graphics card driver update program... so there is more to this then
just SP1.

Right click on my computer and select properties and tell us what it says
there for the OS

I emailed SP1 Support at MS and they sent a link to a SP1 Download. I
downloaded it and ran it and it installed SP1. It's running with no
problems.

Please could you post *link*, where can I download SP1 for Vista?

Thank you.

Is it a problem if I have* Slovak language* on my Vista? Which language
is this SP1 from link designed for? Sorry, but I don't understand it
very well.

If I install this SP1 to my PC, I will not be able to use Slovak
language?

Thank you.

Hi,

Sorry, you did not specify the language. Use this link instead, and change
the language in the dropdown accordingly:

Hi,

You can't reinstall a service pack. Why do you think you need to?
