Anyway to save Service pack 3 to disk for later installation?

I am one of the unfortuante people still using dial-up (location). I have a
friend with broadband and want to know if there is a way to save it, and
install later. Thanks for any advice.

Ask your friend to download:
Windows XP Service Pack 3 - ISO-9660 CD Image File.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

....then burn the file to a CD. You then can install SP3 to your machine at
your convenience (you can do this while on dial-up).
