"Paul W",
No, this does not appear to be the format of one of the download site links
for Windows Update. Although many of the "words" in this string are
trademarks of Microsoft, such as windows and msn and windows xp, this does
not conform to our download site URLs. We also have set up Windows Update
at present NOT to ask for passwords, which is typically a requirement of a
proxy server (firewall). Please let me know if I can be of any further
help.
Sincerely,
Pat Walters [MSFT]
