I don't have any problems using Vista, just like I never had any problems
using any of the other previous NT based O/S(s).

In some aspects, Vista already has changed under the hood. XP is just going
to be another O/S that's being used and XP won't have the features that
Vista has so that 3rd party vendors can implement their solutions.

Over 10 years ago, they said the same thing about Win 98SE and that they
were not going to NT. XP is a NT based O/S.
Win 2K and XP had all kind of problems when they were released until the 3rd
party vendors caught up with those O/S(s). It's not going to be any
different for Vista. Some people will stick with XP just like some have
stuck with Win 95, 98, and 2k over the years, while others will move on.
Was I looking for Vista when my laptop died and I needed a new laptop? The
answer was no. Vista came with the laptop, and I have taken the time over
the last few weeks to see what was different between XP and Vista, and I
know XP very well both on and off the job. But am I going backwards to XP
now that I am using Vista. That answer is no, because I don't go backwards.
