APPCRASH in Internet Explorer 7 & Office 2007

I bought a new computer with Vista and have experienced lockup problems in
nearly all my applications. I was running Office 2003 and the lockups were
happening. On Saturday, I upgraded to Office 2007 and the lockups are still
happening.

It seems that everything locks up when Outlook Sends/Receives. But then
there are other times when Outlook is closed and a lockup happens while
running IE 7 or Excel or some other application.

I've already contacted Dell and they said it's not a hardware problem. I
was on the phone with Microsoft this morning and the tech guy removed all
addins from the registry editor for outlook & renamed the 4 dat files for
outlook 2007. It seemed to work while we were on the phone but within a few
minutes, the lockups happened again.

I really hope someone can help. Thank you!
