attempting to stream some music to the 360 from my vista x64 home premium
machine. i can see the files on the 360 after setting up the media center
extension code. when i attempt to play any file it locks up the interface
with the exception of pressing the middle 'X' button on the controller so i
can get out. when i go to the x64 vista machine and check media player
sharing i see the following error over and over;

when i open media player i get a media sharing prompt about media sharing
disabled either because the service is not running or your firewall settings
have changed. ok > media sharing pops up > find media check share media
check > ok > find media check > share my media to checked > apply then error
....

windows media player network sharing service has stopped working

So you clearly have the file Indiv01_64.key on your system because you are
crashing in that file.

Where is this file located on your system?
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#indiv
is the general 'reset' method you'd want here. But the location of that
file is real key here.

not really an issue any longer as i returned the xbox 360. not because of
this issue but it just wasn't as fun as i thought it would be to play on xbox
live. i'll just use the ps3 for streaming.

i'm wagering that solution probably would have fixed it because there was a
cpu change made a couple of months ago.
