Appear Off Line

Can someone please clarify, are you supposed to be able to do
anything other than send messages when off line?
I suggest it would be of more interest if you were able to
be "invisible" as with Yahoo Messenger and use all the options for
example be able to connect with video and/or audio.

At the moment, all you can do is chat. It has been suggested a few times
that more functionality needs implementing for when you're appearing
offline, we will just have to wait and see at the moment.
