I appear offline to my contacts but I'm online

For some reason I appear offline to all my contacts and everytime someone
sends me a message I get the message telling me I recieved an offline
message...but I am for sure logged in. I've already made sure my status wasnt
set to appear offline and I dont know what else to do. Please help =( I have
used MSN/WLM for years now and never had a problem until this. Thanks

I'm getting the same thing, it seems to fix itself when I go on Window
Web Messenger, but Windows Live Messenger, my contacts say that I appea
offline. Though it seems to only be with some of my contacts who see m
as offline, while others see me as online.

I'm assuming this is some kind of glitch

Two of my friends are having the same issue..... Apparently this problem
is common....does anyone have a solution to this?.... Only difference is
that one has Vista and the other has XP. I know this forum is for
windows 7 but this is the only place I have seen this posted...and very
recent at that....

What I did was sign in on that website as well as the regular windows live (if you have the newest windows live you can sign on in two places). So everyone could see me as online again, and I could use windows live as I normally do with the web messenger running in the background. I hope we get a solution soon.

I ttried to sign in from WLM, meebo and also my mobile and all contacts ae
appearing as offline

I am using VISTA 64-bit and I am having the same issue. The world sees me as offline, but I am actually online. I have reinstalled as well as repaired. Nothing is working.

Hi,

The only thing that's been proven to show the majority of contacts online is Hotmail's web
messenger. Everything else is hit or miss right now.

Hi, Im experiencing this problem right now.
