Appearing Offline Problems

Hi, I've been having this promblem for a while now and I just can't seem to
figure out a solution to it.

When my status is Appear Offline, I cannot receive any messages from any of
my contacts. I don't get these messages until I sign out and sign back in.
This can be very frustrating because I use appear offline a lot when I'm back
and forth from the computer and other stuff. I would like to have any
messages I receive while i'm appearing offline to pop up automatically so
that when I do get back to my computer I can see them (sorry if this doesn't
make sense). This problem only occurs on windows vista and it just seems to
be getting worse.

I also have problems sending messages in a conversation. Even when both my
contact and I are online, my messages don't go through and WLM doesn't tell
me that the messages could not be sent.

I have reinstalled WLM many times and I still get the same problems, only
now they seem to be getting worse and worse. I use WLM very frequently as a
way to stay in contact with people close to me and it just annoys me that it
doesn't half work.

I'm running WLM version 2008 on Vista Home Premiem if anyone needs to know.

Hi Bri I have been having those problems for over a year now. Nothing can
be done about it. At one time we thought it was the handwritign feature. If
you use that then u have to reboot, but that didnt clear up the situation. I
know how frustrating it is. It seens to happen only when i chat with 1
particualr person. And of course its the person i chat with the most lol.. If
you find a fix let me know too !! lol my email addy is

is there no one at all at the wlm technical support team who can help us with
this problem. i am experienceing the exact same thing except even when i sign
back in, the offline messages still dont come through. please help!

1) Does this still occur after you upgrade to the latest WL Messenger client
beta?
2) What client (and version) is your buddy using?
