Apple programs cannot be uninstalled

Recently against my better judgement I installed iTunes on my computer so I
could update my daughters iPod. Since that I have discovered programs like
Bonjour and Safari which have been installed by the Apple Updater program.
Some of these are in my startup group and as I use a lot of resources photo
and video editing I decided to uninstall all of them. However in each case a
message pops up saying "the computer administrator has set policies to
prevent this installation" I have seen a lot of people complaining about
similar issues but most most of the solutions involve running programs which
are not available in my version of Windows Vista, Home Premium 32-bit.
Has anyone got a solution?

I downloaded and ran the program to add take "take ownership" to the context
menu. This does not apply to .exe files though, so though I took ownership of
all the Apple folders and therefore their subfolders and files, The system
still will not let me uninstall the programs.

delete it, one at a time

Unfortunately, deleting program files does not uninstall a program. That only
works on a Mac

Hello Bobbie,
You had mentioned that you tried to uninstall the program
unsuccessfully. Did you try to do that in Features and Programs window ?

Yes. Other programs seem to uninstall ok, but all the Apple ones give me this
message. Apparently, unlike XP, Vista will not let even an administrator have
full control, an administrator is only like an ordinaruser with a few more
priveleges. I don't like it at all!

Hello Bob,
Do you have CCleaner ? If yes, open it. On the left panel, you'll find
Tools, click that, you have Uninstall window, see if you can uninstall
the darn thing there.
