Hi Roger,
This is something which can happen to 3rd party programs after Microsoft
updates. The same thing happened after SP2 for Windows XP was released. The
only way of solving your problem would be to try to isolate and uninstall the
update(s) responsible. If you can do this, and your program now works, then
your problem is solved. However, in order to benefit others with the same
problem, please reinstall the update(s) and send the program vendor (in your
case, Pinnacle) details of the program that failed to work and the MS
update(s) that caused the problem, together with any error messages. With
this information, they may be able to develop a patch for this program to
enable it to work with the update(s). It is only through feedback from users
that software companies are able to update their programs. Keep checking the
vendor's website for further developments on your query, but in the meantime
uninstall the updates so that you can continue to use your program. I enclose
both English and Dutch links to Pinnacle's homepage.
