It must have been an update the Raid configuration, I usually just pick all
the updates and let them go. Now I've tried booting from the Vista DVD,
selecting repair my computer and installing the Raid drivers from NVidia so
far without success. Vista cannot see the C drive though it can see all the
rest. It does not see an operating system to repair on C.

I could really use some suggestions on how to recover - it is just a striped
array of 2 160gb drives.

Experienced users will never install third-party software or hardware
updates offered by Windows Update, Mike. Try a driver roll-back.

well this one did - should have paid more attention - it won't even boot in
safe mode or any other way so not even sure how to do a driver rollback -
when i try to repair it with the dvd it sees all the drives but C

Perhaps those more familiar with Vista might be able to assist with this
issue of getting the computer repaired or able to boot.
