Howdy Michael,
You could follow the instructions here for slipstreaming SP2 into an XP
CD, just extract the updates to the XP SP2 CD instead :
http://www.theeldergeek.com/slipstreamed_xpsp2_cd.htm
To see which updates have been released since SP2 was released, you can
go here:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.aspx
Bear in mind that you'll only need the latest Cumulative Update for IE
and that some of the updates have been superseded.
With a little sleuthing you can create a fully updated XP SP2 CD.
