Appointments on my phone have been deleted by Outlook, can I get these appointments back please?

Dear Group,

A recurring appointment on my phone has been deleted by Outlook, can I get
this appointment back please?

I am not sure if more appointments have been deleted, is there a way of
seeing what's been deleted like in a recycle bin or something like that?

I never noticed this problem before, but some of my appointments have been
deleted from my phone's caldendar. When I search through Outlook it cannot
find any of the words I search for. One of these appointments was a
recurring 2x a week, it is gone from my phone and outlook.

Phone Windows Mobile 6.1
Outlook 2002 SP3.
Activesync 4.5

I have just checked Activesync settings and it only gives 1 option - how far
back to synchronise - All, 2 weeks, 1 month etc.

I would have expected my appointment history to be static, like a journal.
Isn't this the case? If a recurring appointment was deleted would it delete
all occurences of it?
