Our fim has decided to take the approach for our server environment to
approve all pathces, security updates, and hotfixes that have been released.
A few questions regarding approving all updates:
1. By approving all updates, for those that are superseded or dependant on
earlier released updates, will all updates be installed regardless with only
1 reboot occuring? Or will the superseded and dependant updates be installed
first, then reboot, afterwhich the remaining updates installed and a second
reboot occur?
2. In WSUS, if all updates are approved for Install, is deadline
configurations required (Use Client Settings)in order for the client GPO
serttings to be recognized or can you leave the deadline as none?
