Can anyone tell me why certain files such as documents, pictures, public
etc, are listed PRIOR to the C directory? They are on C drive aren't they?

Yes usually on C:... the listing is for ease of access... works well if
multiple users on a system.

Those are just shortcuts to those directories for your convenience. The
true path is C:\Users\your-user-name\Documents, etc.
