Dear,

I am using VIsta. I did a mistake by changing my account to standart user,
and automatically, the administrator in my laptop was changed to "ASP.NET
machine account". Thus, I couldn't change anysystems, because my "ASP.NET
machine account' ussualy asks the password that I never create.

Please, could you help me how dealing with this problem?, or is there a
default password for ASP.NET machine account?.

Thanks

Hi Warsito,

Try to see if you can boot into Safe Mode and change your user account
back to an Administrator account or create a new Administrator account.
This will show you how to boot into the Advanced Boot Options screen to
select Safe Mode.

I have exactly the same problem as Warsito, I tried you suggestiion of
re-booting on safe mode but even this also does not allow me to create a new
user account or change my account type. The dialogue box asking for a
password to ASP.net Machine account still turns up.

Any other suggestions? Desperately need your help!

Hi Cherieball,

You can see if one of these methods will help you. In your case, you
will probably have to do Method Three. If you cannot get it going, then
you may have to do a reinstall.
