Assassin's Creed

I recently got the game and was able to find the full screen short cut,
but now I have another little issue that is plaguing me.

I thought "Well, If I turn off all of the Window's Vista graphics it
should run faster" I couldn't find the desktop composition/compatibility
sub menu. So I shut off everything from the control panel.


Windows looks like **** but the Game runs fast as hell now. Anyone know
how to get to that sub menu or how to turn everything off just when I
want to run this game???

Many new games create their shortcuts and place them in

Programs
Games
Game Explorer
rather than on the desktop.
