assigning Roaming Profile to 2008 Users

Hi!

I have a problem by assigning Users a Local Romaing Profile (like a
mandatory Profile).

I prepared a Empty Profile and copied it locally. I am pointing the users to
the profilepath by useing the GPO Set TS-Profilepath path is:
c:\profile\profile

I also set the setting Do not atttach Username to Profilepath.

The profile seems to get loaded if a user logs on, but the logon process
gets interrupted by:

The Group Policy Client service failed the logon.

Access is denied.

OK

If i click ok, the users gets loged off.

Can someone tell me which permissions do i have to add to the Profile.

The NTFS permissions on the files are looking good and the permissions
within the profile also.

Please help!

oh i forgot:

the assigned profilepath is:

c:\profile\profile

but the physically path is: c:\profile\profile.V2
