ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe BIOS at 1002.002 required to update to XP Pro

I let Windows update service update my XP Pro SP1 system to SP2 last night
and when it restarted it froze at the XP splash screen. Couldn't do
anything, no safe start, etc.

My motherboard is an ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe and it had the 1001.004 BIOS
revision. After I flashed the BIOS to rev. 1002.002 and restarted, after a
long wait I was able to logon to SP2 and it's running ok now.

Flash before you update to SP2!
