I have recently made the move from AMD based systems to Intel based systems
and after an exhaustive case issue. I finally got the system up and running.
I installed the x64 edition of RC1 (missed out on the RC2 downloads, but if
someone wants to hook me up with the ISO image I would be grateful) and the
install went off without a hitch. I downloaded the latest beta drivers from
nvidia for the board and video, but I found an odd issue with the sound.
Vista registers the sound as Microsoft HD Audio, and it only offers me the
S/PDIF connection for speakers. I am using the analog port on the motherboard
to provide sound.
I tried to uninstall it, but vista put it right back in and refuses to see
the audio drivers I downloaded from nvidia.com
Any information would be most helpful (I hate XP) and I love how the newer
Intel systems go together. It was much easier on my fingers lol.

Just thought of this, but was wondering if patching the BIOS would help any?
