ati radeon adapter

Each time I start vista, service pack2, Acer aspire box, I see a message
saying my ATI adapter does not match something or other and I need to
upgrade. When i try to update the ATI Radeon Driver, it says I already have
the proper driver available. Any way to get rid of the message? Thanks

Did you try uninstalling, rebooting, then reinstalling the catalyst control
center and the ati drivers?
