ATI Registration - registration choice

Recently we had a pop up screen appear on our computer regarding ATI
Registration. It said to register your porduct activates your ATI Customer
Care warranty service & support. Please choose one of the following. I want
to register online now. Remind me later or never remind me again. We had no
idea what caused this or what was the correct thing to do. We wondered if it
was a form up update & if so why we had to register it etc. (our system was
new one yr ago). We also didn't realize that it referred to our monitor nor
did we have any idea what it was referring to. We kept cancelling out as we
didn't know if it was a good thing or otherwise. That screen has now
disappeared & only a short cut icon was left. We are not much of an expert
on the tech end of things - could someone clarify what caused this & what we
should have done or what we should be doing now?
