ATI Technologies, Inc - Video - Radeon IGP 320M won't intstall???

For some reason, there is an update in my Windows Automatic Updates of an ATI
Technologies, Inc - Radeon IGP 320M. When I try to install it, I get a
warning: Updates were unable to be successfully installed. The following
updates were not installed: ATI Technologies, Inc - Video - RADEON IGP 320M.
Please advise. Thanks

Do not, repeat, DO NOT download updates for your video card from Microsoft;
always go to the vendor's web site, in this case ATI, and get any updates
from their downloads.

Then tell the Microsoft Update guys to take video drivers out as a CRITICAL
update so it won't get automatically installed!

Jerry, I just did the same thing with ATI Radeon X300 Series. How do I get
my monitor back to normal? I'm not sure about uninstalling/installing
drivers.

You download the latest drivers or Catalyst from ATI.

You open Device Manager and remove the existing drivers.

You install the latest drivers - you just downloaded them.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, I downloaded the ATI Technologies, Inc -
Video - 16MB ATI Rage 128 Ultra update from Windows Update and now my deplay
is totally hosed. Will go to the ATI website. DON'T DOWNLOAD VIDEO ADAPTER
UPDATES FROM @#*& MICROSOFT.

It seem that Microsoft is sending out the wrong Drivers for the Rage 128. I
had to re load the driver from Dell on three diff machines.
