Ok, I have the Radeon All-in-wonder video card with all of its drivers
properly installed and updated. I wanted to be able to use the "ATI Rage
Theater Video Capture" driver as my webcam on Live Messenger. This is my TV
Tuner driver. With Live Messenger it shows up on the list when i go to "Audo
and video setup..." with a functioning video preview, but when I go to
"Webcam settings..." it is not on the list, so it won't let me use it. Why is
it on one list and not the other? This driver works as a webcam on Yahoo!
Messenger but not on here. Can anybody tell me why it won't work?

Because it cannot send TV over the Internet. I tried, also. Are you sure
others are receiving the TV broadcasts, not just hearing the TV Sound?

rofl, apparently you did not even listen to what i said. it works just fine
as a webcam with yahoo! messenger. so OBVIOUSLY tv can be sent over the
internet, that and i've only seen loads of other people do it on msn, not
yahoo... duhr. ok and i also said it did not show up as a selectable driver
in the webcam settings, so im not even getting to the point where it would
send anything at all. don't reply to my messages if you are a stupid moron, k
? thanks.

Greetings,

The reason why it's in one and not the other is the setup wizard uses different video
technology then what's in the Webcam settings dialog.

The Webcam settings dialog however is what Messenger actually uses and therefore why it
doesn't work.

uh, ok... microsoft developers simply lacked enough intelligence to just use
one video/imaging driver display in both settings dialogs? so in other words
microsoft is retarded and/or purposely aims to **** off customers, wow thanks
for making it so clear. anyways you just explained to me something that i
really don't care about. i posted because i wanted to know if there's a way
to make it actually work. so thanks for nothing. LOL @ mvp. most valuable
pussy bitch?
