Ah... They do have errors at least on the 32 bit version of both Vista and
XP, if You enable Catalyst A.I.=advanced and try to start the game
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or Prince of Persia Sands of Time, the computer will freeze
and stop responding. On XP, the drivers support a feature called GPU
recovery, it may prevent the freeze, but Display acceleration may be lost.
I posted a ticket about this on ATi's site. After fooling me around for a
few weeks, they asked me to confirm it again step-by-step (although I had
provided all details and a video demo already), so that they can try to
reproduce it. It's been a week since I replayed to them and have no answer,
so I may decide to make the video demonstration available for the public to
see: why NOT to buy ATi products. I'll give them a few more days.
