file from live mail I get a box telling me that there is no program
assosiated with this file and to use the program assosiations control panel
to make an assosiation.
I had office 2003 before this and it did the same!
Can anyone help please?

I have the same problem....
Fresh computer with Win7, office 2007 installed and I downloded and
installed Windows live mail.
If I recieve a mail with a doc attachment, windows live mail fails to open
it and pops up a windows saying "There is no file assiciation...". Same doc
file, after saving it into the desktop opens with no problem.

The utility that was provided above, does not work on Win7, is there ANY
solution to this issue????!!!
Please help....

Thanks,
Dafna

Right click on a saved DOC file, select Open With, Choose program and
select MS Word and check the option to always open DOC files that
program.
