XPpro all current Windows & Office updates, Messenger Live 8.5.1288.816.
Only have a problem with only one ID. Recently added ~50 new contacts on
it. Auto disconnect issues. Using System Internal's TCP View while signed
in, TCP packets are being sent to microsoft from progressively higher ports
on my comp about once per second. After reaching about the 3000th port, WL
disconnects. After reconnecting, the whole process repeats. I tried signing
on with the problem ID using Windows Messenger and each newly added contact
returns a Contact List Request (like they are adding me). Accepting the
request (from an ID I added), an error message says, "[user name] could not
be unblocked". Once I clear those error messages, I am not randomly
disconnected from Windows Messenger and can send & receive messages without a
crazy number of ports sending TCP packets to microsoft. Not having any
problems with another ID on that computer using either Live Messenger or
Windows Messenger. Can anyone help me solve this ID's problem with WLM and
WM? -Thanks
