Attempts to Install Update Over and Over

This is my third time posting this. Other two responses were worthless.
Attempted to file email help request with MS but it kept rejecting my product
number (which WAS entered correctly). The only good part of this is that I'm
in the market for another computer for my daughter and now have decided to
but her an Apple based on this experience.

Vista attempts to install update BN947821 over and over. It shows that it
has installed it six times and still insists on attempting to install it more.

I'm sure I won't get any help this time, but, what the heck.

I am currently experiencing the same problem with update: KB936330.

.....and so I follow one of the links above to begin an email exchange with MS
help representatives, except when i go to submit my help request I get: "An
unknown application error occurred. Please try again in a few minutes."

Truly, MS, you are a class act.
