Active Sync 3.8 is failing to sync Calendar and Contacts. Status is
Attention Required. Outlook 2003. I have reset the pocket pc in an effort
to resolve the issue. Currently, there is no data on the pocket pc. I have
removed the profile on the pc and created a new one. Problem persists.

The problem is likley related to an outlook issue earlier this week with a
messed up formcache file. Once removed, the calendar and contacts were able
to display properly. I also uninstalled Outlook 2003 and reinstalled.

Any ideas? Thanks

Hi Leon,

Try deleting and then recreating the partnership. To delete a
partnership ---

1. Disconnect the PPC from the computer.
2. In Activesync -> File -> Delete Partnership.
3. Connect the device and follow the onscreen instructions to setup a new
partnership.

Hi

I add the same problem and even with deleting the partnership I wasn't able
to synch with Outlook.

I solve the problem like this

1. I made a coopy of my pst file.
2. I remove office 2003 and install office XP
3. Outlook XP was unable to start.
4. I desinstall Office XP
5. I erase the Outlook folder in my document and setting -- User -- Local
Setting - Appliaction Data -- Microsoft -- Outlook.
6. I reinstall Office 2003
7. Outlook ask me wherre to find my pst file

And now everything work.

I don't know if it has something to do with all I did but It work fine now

Hope it help
