Well I found a folder in my program files called "MSN messenger" and deleted
it assuming it was from an older version I uninstalled. I uninstalled
Windows Live Messenger and deleted the folder as well. Afterwards I did a
fresh install of 8.5 again and now I'm back to square one. All the links
seem to be dead again and I cant put up a display picture. I'm still
getting that "Not a valid image" error. If you could walk me through on how
to properly delete and reinstall WLM that would be much appreciated. As for
now it's 4:45am here and I'm going to bed before the wife wakes up and yells
at me. Thanks again.

Good luck on getting a response back, if it gets 'too' technical for these
guy; they ignore you, sort of like Microsoft does. Good luck.
