AU is giving me a hard time.

Au never installs updates at the right time. It tries at the wrong time but
fails. I am running Win XP SP2. There are tons of erors in the WU update log.
When I go to the WU page and install updates manually, then AU installs it
and gets the credit. WHat's happening?

Please Help.
