Howdy,

I have a ThinkPad T61p running Windows Server 2008 Standard with SP1.
Recently, when I first boot up, my audio devices only show my Digital Output
Device (SPDIF). I have to restart the Windows Audio Endpoint Builder service
and then the normal speakers will appear and I then get sound. This happens
EVERY single time I reboot my laptop, which is daily. Any ideas how to keep
the normal speakers as my audio device?

Thanks,

Hi,
look for "sounds and audio devices" to figure out which audio device is set
for default
