Audio driver update through Windows Update

This is just a general comment. There's no need to reply.

I have a Realtek audio driver. When I updated it one time in Windows Update,
and it either replaced the driver with one from nVidia or removed the
"Multi-channel Sound Manager", which I use a LOT. Anyways, be careful
downloading updates that aren't Windows hotfixes.

In the future get drivers directly from the manufacturers web site and not
from Microsoft.

If the driver comes up as a Critical Update, there is normally a good reason
and you should consider
Getting the driver at that time from the manufacturer.
If the driver is not critical and everything is working fine, do not install
the newer driver
