Audio quality autoadjust?

Does someone know if messenger (vista 32 bit) autoadjusts the quality of
audio for spotty wireless connections? Yahoo does, but messenger will not.
is this feature being considered?

Actually Messenger has had this feature since 4.0 and it will adjust the quality based on the
amount of bandwidth allotted in real-time.
